The Era of the Indie - The Best Books the Best Way
Not merely an avid reader but a compulsive one, I'm introducing new and notable literary gems on this site (and their very talented authors) which I happen to stumble upon in my seemingly endless web wanderings. This is a totally FREE service--nobody pays to sway me--and the growing list on this site contains works by chiefly undiscovered writers to which I have no professional affiliation. I'm just posting these finds here purely for your enjoyment and to encourage potential readers to give them a chance.
Most of these books you'll probably never have heard of before and their authors' names will seem equally obscure, but don't let obscurity dissuade you. That's always how tomorrow's big names appear today.
There are many new entries of interest in my collection already and even some author biographies posted, so please be sure to click on the various menu options above to see my picks this month. If they've been published or self-published, you'll find the publisher's or retailers' hot links beneath them. If not, you'll find links to where you can read free excerpts. (My visiting author section is a brand new feature and contains a number of works-in-progress and/or newly self-pubbed eBooks; just click the '?!' tab above and see who's participating this month.)
Finally, from time to time I'll also be flagging various publishing opportunities , writing competitions, author networking sites, etc., which I think might be useful to emerging authors.
